SAFE branded Samsung Galaxy S III vs RIM BlackBerry OS 10

I won’t lie and say that it doesn’t look like Samsung is looking to put RIM down with a quick one-two.  Here’s the juicy bits.

Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9300

As always, the Galaxy S series is full touch screen
Offers a much wider, HD video screen
Goes to sleep when you close your eyes
S-voice, very similar to the iPhone’s Siri
While watching videos you can do other work on it
NFC
Dual-core will support LTE
Support for 338 IT Policies

  • AES-256 bit encryption, the very same that BlackBerry totes for Businesses
  • Enhanced support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
  • Support for Virtual Private Network (VPN)
  • Supports for Mobile Device Management (MDM)
Let’s also not forget that ChatON, which is made by Samsung, is also encrypted and can now do group chats, send pictures/video/messages/documents (word/excel/pdf/powerpoint/etc.).

BlackBerry OS 10

Not much is known other than that it’s mainly touch screen, looks a lot like a Windows 7/8 phone, and one version will be full touch and the other a slide down keypad.  Everything else is the same features as the Bold 9900.
Why aren’t I including the iPhone 5? Because it’s not going to matter in this year, there’s nothing really new other than speed and the screen (which is about the same as the S III, so rumors say).
